List of Billboard Songs of the Decade 1970s
The Billboard Hot 100 is a chart that ranks the best-performing singles of the United States. Its data, published by Billboard magazine is based collectively on each single's weekly physical sales, as well as airplay. At the end of a decade, Billboard will publish a list of the 100 most successful songs throughout that decade on the Hot 100 chart based on the information. For the 1970s, the list was calculated with data from December 20, 1969 to October 27, 1979.
